Curriculum

Format

 

Students in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of advanced science topics ranging from the fields of health to environmental issues.

  • Topics will be arranged by grade and difficulty, with emphasis on current science news.

Each student will take on a topic to tackle for two weeks, and at the end of two weeks, 4-5 students will present in a virtual setting along with their mentor.

  •  Over the two weeks, the mentor will guide the students and provide assistance.

  • The presenter will create Interactive, engaging activities such as kahoots or quizzes as part of their presentation.

  • It will be a collaborative and interactive session including Q&A.
